Dream Vacation

Today someone asked me where I would go for my dream vacation. To be honest, my first reaction was "Norman, Oklahoma". It really is the place I most want to go right now.

I love traveling. But it's possible to have too much of a good thing. During the past few months I've gone on trips to Japan, Washington DC, Mexico, Colorado, and 4 trips to California. I think I've been away more than I've been home. And during the short times I'm home it seems like all I'm doing is catching up (from being gone so much) and preparing for the next trip.

My "dream vacation" will start on Thanksgiving. I'll been in Norman, I won't have another trip to be packing for, I won't have a hundred things to catch up on, and I'll be spending the week with a very special 'friend' from San Jose. There's no place I'd rather be.

Yay for Norman!

I'm slowly becoming a Texan again. It was inevitable I suppose. I can't imagine moving back to Oklahoma now. I'm a Dallas-ite. I feel like I identify more with them. Somewhat forward-thinking. Yet still conservative.

I'm not even coming home for Thanksgiving...
